The authors provide an unparalleled synthesis of the events taking place at the end of World War II in the Czechlands. Unlike most Czech historians, they not merely follow the events in Prague, but they also focus on the armed uprising of the Czech people throughout the entire Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
