summary
This monograph is an introduction to Freud’s teachings, examining Freud’s way of thinking, his reactions to different discrepancies and the insufficiencies in his own previous texts, and to what extent other interpretations or summaries of Freud’s work may be misleading. A selection of Freud’s works represents a body of data through which the scholar guides us chronologically.
The content of the book results from a preliminary reading of Freud’s works and a programmatic approach to it. With regard to his previous experience, the scholar selected a criterion – a drive, which distinguishes Freudianism from other philosophical movements, and he returns to certain points, to a continual original interpretations, after having read Freud’s texts.
