O demokracii a o všem, co s ní souvisí

On Democracy and Everything Connected with It is a collection of 29 essays written by 34 authors working in Czech political science or related fields. Their contributions present a summary of the issues examined by contemporary Czech political science. Despite the considerable thematic scope, several coherent areas can be identified. The first one is entitled Political Institutions, where the texts are mainly devoted to institutional and constitutional aspects of modern politics, both domestic and foreign. The second one, entitled Parties and Social Movements, concerns the party dimension of politics. The third one is called Elections, Electoral Systems, and Their Reforms. The last area, entitled Various, covers further political science research in the fields of political philosophy, sociology, social science methodology, and modern history.
