On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Czechoslovak and Czech statehood, we asked selected ambassadors to answer several questions. Sixteen diplomats, graduates from Charles University, recollect their family roots, their study at Charles University, the beginnings of their diplomatic activities as well as their cooperation with the university during their diplomatic careers. These are the exceptionally interesting stories of prominent figures of several generations who represented or still represent our country abroad and who believe that it was their study at Charles University that "equipped” them for their work in diplomatic service.
