This book is dedicated to the topic of political language and propaganda, which it examines from both a linguistic and a pedagogical-didactic perspective. The publication summarises fundamental insights into the nature of propagandistic texts in the broadest sense, including their extralinguistic means, and presents possibilities for incorporating these texts into teaching of Czech or a foreign language. The various means employed in propagandistic texts of different types are examined primarily from the perspective of the educator, while the question of whether the topic of politics and propaganda belongs in school education and how it can be presented in the classroom is discussed.
