Filologické studie 2016

The monograph, Phonetics and Phonology in Prospective Teachers’ Education, aims to analyze university instruction of the key linguistic disciplines, phonetics and phonology, in the Czech Republic, covering both its history and its current state. In addition to theory, it also presents theoretical and practical methodological impulses which reflect the specific nature of the discipline in the education of prospective teachers, specifically focusing on the necessary didactic and teaching skills of the prospective language teachers.
