Československo 38-89: Atentát

An award-winning interactive story from the protectorate period, rendered primarily in the form of graphic comic art by the artist known as Ticho 762 and accompanied by the music of the DVA group. Reproducing the atmosphere of the period following the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, it allows players to "experience” the events from the perspectives of different people. The main story is that of post office clerk Jindřich Jelínek, who was arrested by the Gestapo immediately after the assassination. Taking on the role of his grandson or granddaughter, you search for the reasons for his arrest and through interviews with his contemporaries, you can uncover the events he had never talked about with his family. A vivid trip back to a dark era in Czech history.
