Věra Pohlová

Věra Pohlová, a graduate of the Masaryk State School for Medical and Social Care, is one of many women who have devoted their lives to postwar social work, but one of the very few who could tell us about her life, family, her career path and preparations for it in person. Her life was affected by all important historical events of the 20th century, creating a backdrop to her personal story as well as providing landmarks for the transformations of social care.
