Německá vysoká škola technická v Praze (1938–1945)

The history of the German Technical University in Prague in 1938–1945 is much like a crossroads, a point in which the history of education of Czech Germans, universities, technology as well as the history of occupation and the Nazi Third Reich all intersect. It is an important part of the history of university education in the Czech Lands, both in relation to the Czech Technical University and to the German University. This monograph focuses primarily on the institutional, biographical, political and administrative development. The story of the German Technical University in Prague, covered in a broader historical context of efforts to understand parallel activities of the Czech and German population, illustrates the multifaceted development of technical education, thought and creativity in the Czech Lands.
