Slovenščina ni težka. Slovenian is not difficult is a university textbook of Slovenian for beginners, intended for Czech Slovenian and Slavic studies students. The opening chapter, Basic Information on the Slovenian Language, presents the most important information on the development of Slovenian from its beginnings to the present day. The chapter entitled Morphology of the Standard Slovenian Language explains the phonetics of standard language phonemes and their variants, and addresses the issue of stress (its diacritical marks, place, words with multiple stressed syllables, enclitics). The explanation is accompanied by many exercises. These chapters are followed by eleven units, which contain texts, mostly in the form of a dialogue, whose contents are based on everyday conversational situations.
