Jak jsem to tenkrát viděl

Miroslav Hroch, one of the most prominent Czech historians, recapitulates his professional career, especially his work at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. In addition to his research activities, he also reflects on his personal life in the context of contemporary political events and discusses how he perceived them back then. Each chapter of the memoirs is concluded with questions posed to the author by his colleague Zdeněk Nebřenský, who is two generations younger.
