This new revised edition of Radomír Havlík's textbook is used for basic orientation in the study of selected societal problems. Individual chapters are devoted for instance to theory and the history of sociology, the relation ship between society and individuals, the social structure of society, national and ethnic relations, social development, the idea of progress and social deviation.
