Soukromá žaloba v trestním řízení

This book presents the little-known institute of ancillary bill and civil action and ponders on the implications of its potential introduction in the Czech Republic. It first analyses its history in the Czech Lands and in those European countries whose legal codes include the institute of civil action. This analysis serves as a starting point for the considerations of the sense of both types of actions and confronts them with the Czech legal system. The last chapter considers the possibility of introducing both institutes into the Czech legal code.
