Vybrané kapitoly z ochrany obyvatelstva

This publication was written for students at the Faculty of Sport, Charles University in Prague majoring in Population Protection.
It follows the previous work published in this discipline by doc. RNDr. Petr Linhart, CSc.
Its six chapters summarize the necessary complex of activities toward ensuring population protection in case of an extraordinary event. Chapter six is of particular importance as it covers the growth of terrorism in the past decade on a global scale and summarizes its forms and potential threats in the world and in the Czech Republic.
Individual chapters are complemented with practical cases, which aid in understanding the presented information.
The publication is also intended for further education of pedagogues teaching Population Protection.
