Zápisník Tagebuch – Reisen Emila Holuba jako jeho badatelská prvotina

This book represents a critical edition of dairy entries which the traveler Emil Holub took while a student at the Medical School of the Karl-Ferdinand University (1866–1872) during the trips he undertook during his vacation to the Pátek nad Ohří environs. This diary, written primarily in German, contains detailed information on the local history, topography, fauna and flora, and is accompanied by a number of illustrations. Holub’s text is accompanied by the Czech translation and an extensive introductory essay.
