Teoretická východiska informační vědy

This monograph formulates and solves the basic theoretical question of the information science: the structure of the information universe. This structure is presented by means of a conceptual model, creating a superstructure to the bibliographical universe. The scholars use conceptual modeling as a basic analytical method, subsequently applying it to other areas, including the research universe and specialized libraries. A special chapter focuses on the relationship between conceptual models and semantic representations.
