Tvarosloví a syntax

The exercise book Tvarosloví a syntax is aimed at instructing foreign students who want to study Czech as a foreign language, Czech studies, general linguistics and other philological subjects at university level. It serves to acquaint students with the basic terms of Czech word-building and syntax. The textbook is intended for work in groups, with a teacher or for self-study.

Each chapter deals with one topic, which is theoretically explained with an emphasis on key words and with immediate feedback for understanding of the text. This is followed by exercises and repetition in the form of supplementary exercises and practical tasks. For teachers or students, a brief test is attached as well as further repetition of the material covered. The chapters are conceived as a 90-minute seminar and correspond to the number of seminars during one, or respectively two seminars.
