Farmaceutická chemie léčiv působících na autonomní nervový systém

The book offers an overview of pharmaceutical chemistry of drugs acting on the autonomic nervous system, covers drugs affecting the locomotor system, addresses drugs blocking histamine receptors and concludes with a chapter on drugs with peripheral blocking of the nociceptive system. Each chapter opens with an introductory section providing brief, yet necessary pharmacological characteristics of drugs. Further information concerns the historical development of the particular pharmacotherapeutic group. Each chapter focuses on the description of relations between the structure and the effect of the drugs. It also includes chemical formulas, brief characteristics of drugs used in practice and their international nonproprietary names as well as their pharmacopoeic (Czech Phramacopoeia, 2005, and supplements of 2006, 2007), chemical (IUPAC) and most significant proprietary names. The book is intended for students of pharmaceutical faculties and may be useful also for pharmacists and other experts in modern pharmaceuticals.
