Edvard Beneš: Politická biografie českého demokrata I

This biography of the second Czechoslovak president is divided into two parts. The first part presents Edvard Beneš in 1884–1935, that is in the period of his rise through the Czech society and politics to the presidency. It describes the exceptional political destiny of this extraordinarily hard-working and ambitious student, teacher and politician, for whom the establishment, development and defence of a modern Czechoslovak state became a life-long mission.
