This book offers an introduction to the theological reflection on other religious traditions from the Catholic perspective. It presents the history of this relation and defines the theological foundation of the Christian approach to religious plurality. It also expands on contemporary theological approaches and some open issues we encounter as part of the interfaith dialogue (revealed character, the nature of and the veracity of various religious identities ).
