Biografický slovník 1. lékařské fakulty Univerzity Karlovy 1945–2008 (M–Ž)

This second and last volume of the Biographical Dictionary of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, 1945–2008, concludes the dictionary series which aimed to map out the history of the medical faculty in Prague from its foundation to the present day. Compared to the first volume, this volume includes an alphabetical glossary of assistants working at the First Faculty of Medicine during the years under scrutiny as well as a list of different variations of the names of institutes and its parts.
The method used to compile the last volume of this biographical dictionary undoubtedly has its limitations due to stricter legislation concerning the protection of personal data, however, we hope that this project has offered the public a tool that would serve anyone interested in the Czech history of medicine well for many decades.
