Talking Medicine

The new edition of Talking Medicine – Czech for Medical Students develops the Czech language skills required for communication with Czech patients in hospitals. It includes more exercises that utilize different kinds of practice and self-assessment activities. These exercises include gap filling, sentence transformation, multiple choice questions, word and phrase matching, jokes and crosswords to make the book more challenging and more fun. The book is English-based and is therefore suitable both for classroom use and for self-study. Vocabulary and phrases are organized according to specific medical areas. The textbook contains recordings of all the dialogues, useful phrases and some additional listening comprehension exercises.
