Frazeologie a idiomatika česká a obecná. Czech and General Phraseology

This book provides the first self-contained and systematic overview of the whole field of phraseology and idiomatics within a wider linguistic framework. In addition to basic theory, the book also offers a range of essays on the main aspects of the field, often unstudied until now, elements of the theory of the description of phraseology (phraseography) and a complete description of the whole area of Czech phraseology from the lexicological point of view, particularly in connection to the Dictionary of Czech Phraseology and Idiomatics. The book is written in both Czech and English, always with a summary in the other language.
