Jestlipak víte, kdo je lyrik?

Over the past decade, a number of new names and originally conceived collections have appeared in children’s poetry. This collective monograph traces recent developments and the publishing and authorial activity in this segment. It focuses on contemporary Czech authors (Petr Borkovec, Daniela Fischerová, Robin Král, Radek Malý, Petr Nikl, Ester Stará, Ivan Wernisch, and more) and the works of some of their predecessors (Vladimír Holan, Josef Hiršal and Bohumila Grögerová, Jan Skácel). Their poetic works also serve as material for a didactically conceived study reflecting on the future of reading books and the aspects according to which contemporary poetry is included in them.
