The second chapter deals with the structure of the Jesuit pre-higher education system and all of the basic principles used in instruction; the author for instance elaborates on the theatre and its importance in Jesuit educational system. The third part presents both a regular day and a feast day at a Jesuit grammar school, describing students' and teachers' routines, both specific and shared.
