The Textbook of Czech for Intermediate and Higher Level Students and the related Workbook have been successfully used in education of the future Czech studies experts at Czech and foreign universities as well as in many other types of classes of Czech as a foreign language. To accompany the third, updated edition of the Textbook, the scholars also undertook to revise and expand its Workbook. All units in the Workbook have been revised, new exercises and tasks added to ensure that it better serves its users and that along with the textbook it reflected the most recent developments of the Czech language. New features include a list focusing on aspect of selected verb pairs (for verbs used in the textbook and workbook), a list of the most frequent irregular verbs and an overview of the most frequent prepositions.
