Polsko-české poznávání jako výměna hodnot

The book reflects on the long tradition of Polish studies at Czech universities while highlighting current and future challenges that this field of study faces. It contains a collection of papers presented at an international conference held in the autumn of 2023 to mark the 100th anniversary of Polish studies at Czech universities. The commemorative book provides an overview of selected chapters in the history of Polish studies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and contributes to the identification of the goals and challenges that Polish studies – and philology in general – currently face.
