Neklidná figura

This book was published as an exhibition catalogue for the eponymous exhibition presented by the Prague City Gallery between May 4 and September 25, 2016. In their studies, Petr Wittlich, Sandra Baborovská and Marie Rakušanová follow the developments and role of Czech sculpture at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, while selected texts from the period help to familiarize the reader with the intellectual environment in which these developments came about. The catalogue also contains photographs from the sculptors’ estates, which present the sculptors’ views of their own works, thus offering a unique perspective.
