Monograph Electricity and Magnetism is a basic university textbook for disciplines focusing on physics and natural sciences. Chapters 1-5, constituting the publication’'s core, cover electrostatics, forces between moving charges, stationary fields, quasi-stationary fields and electromagnetic fields. Chapters 6-8 provide an extension to the core. Appendix 1 summarizes the necessary mathematical knowledge of vectors, while Appendix 2 explains the relations between various systems used in electromagnetism. The coverage is very thorough, individual pieces of information and the connection between them are carefully explained. The presentation is completed by the formulation of Maxwell’'s equations. The book also contains many examples and solutions. The scope of this book goes beyond the subject matter of a basic course in physics and may also serve as a bridge to the lectures on the electromagnetic field theory.
