This textbook was written for the students in the bachelor degree program of Czech studies, which follows up on the textbook Grammatical Analysis of Czech. It provides a comprehensive description of the functional morphology of contemporary (primarily standard) Czech. It addresses morphological categories (first nominal, then verbal) and parts of speech (uninflected, nouns, adjectives, pronouns and verbs). It covers only a general outline of formal morphology.
